The Parents Apart Parenting Education Program at Rupert A. Nock Middle School in Newburyport is held each month on two Wednesday evenings. You must attend both Wednesday evening sessions to receive the certificate for the Probate and Family Court.

Part A - WEDNESDAY Evening 6:30 - 9:00 PM

Part B - WEDNESDAY Evening 6:30 - 9:00 PM

Rupert A. Nock Middle School
70 Low Street. Across from State Armory. Classes are held in Classroom 125, go right at school main entrance, left past cafeteria, and then left onto corridor alongside the school library.

Important Information:

Each parent must attend both sessions in entirety to obtain the certificate of completion for the Court
Both parents may not attend sessions at the same time together
Children may not accompany parents

Registration Information:

Registration may be completed in advance or at the door on the first day of class. All registration will be completed, on a space available basis, by submitting the tuition fee at the door.

Registration Fee: $80 per person (total for the two sessions)

Payable by money order (to "Family Healthy Choices, Inc.") or by cash. No personal checks are accepted. In special circumstances if the Court has provided a waiver, the $5 fee must be received along with the Court-approved waiver document at the time of the registration.

How do I register?

At the door: To register at the door, simply arrive within 30 minutes prior to the class start time to complete the registration form. Provide your complete registration form and full registration fee to the on-site coordinator.

Pre-Register Online: Complete and submit the online registration form. You will be sent a confirmation of your registration by e-mail or mail. Provide your confirmation and full registration payment to the on-site coordinator up to 30 minutes prior to the first class start time.

Location & Directions:

Classes are held at the Rupert A. Nock Middle School at 70 Low Street in Newburyport across from the State Armory. Classes are held in Classroom 125, go right at school main entrance, left past cafeteria, and then left onto corridor alongside the school library.

Directions:

Take Exit 57 from Route 95 east on Storey Avenue, then right onto Low Street at the traffic light before Port Plaza. Continue to school on right. OR,
Take Route 1 (past High Street from North, or past Courthouse Rotary from South) to traffic light at cemetery corner, then turn onto Low Street. Continue to school on right.
