FOR THE CHILDREN is an educational program for never married parents in the Essex, Hampshire, and Suffolk Divisions. This program is a supportive parent education program that focuses on the needs of children of never married parents. The five-hour workshop is presented over two sessions and is facilitated by a male / female team of child development and parent education specialists. Topics include:
* The vital role parents in children's lives
* Cooperative parenting
* Pitfalls for parents to avoid
* Understanding children's needs
* Supporting children when parents live apart
The For the Children program for NEVER MARRIED parents is held at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston is held each month on one weekend. You must attend one Friday evening class and one Sunday afternoon class to receive the certificate for the Probate and Family Court.
Part A - FRIDAY Evening 7:00 - 9:30 PM

At the door: To register at the door, simply arrive within 30 minutes prior to the class start time to complete the registration form. Provide your completed registration form to the on-site coordinator.
Pre-Register Online: Complete and submit the online registration form. You will be sent a confirmation of your registration by e-mail or mail. Provide your confirmation and full registration form to the on-site coordinator up to 30 minutes prior to the first class start time.
